Here's what nobody tells you about wedding films...
I grew up with my camcorder in my hand. Seriously — I brought it to school. Filmed every project, every birthday, every ordinary Tuesday that felt worth remembering. I didn't know then that I was learning the most important lesson of my life.
My dad filmed our whole childhood on VHS tapes. After my grandparents passed, those tapes became treasures. And when my dad passed in September 2024 — those tapes became priceless. They're the only way I can hear his voice now. See him laugh. Feel like he's still in the room.
That's not something I understand academically. I know it in my bones. And it's why I show up to every single wedding — all 15 I allow myself each year — as if I'm the one who'll need this film someday. Because I know how much it matters. And so does your family.

I'm hands-off by design — no posing, no direction, no making your wedding feel like a film set. I fade into the background and watch for the things photos can't hold: voices, laughter, the way your dad squeezes your hand, the quiet moment between the two of you when everyone else is distracted.
Those are the moments you'll want most. Not in ten days — in ten years. And I treat every single one like it's irreplaceable. Because it is.

"An Invisible String Tying Us Together"
Sabrina and Brett grew up in the same town, probably passed each other a hundred times, but somehow never met — not until 2021, when their moms unknowingly set something in motion that would change everything. What started as an unexpected connection quickly became something deeper. Even with some pushback along the way, they knew this was right. Like there had always been this invisible string tying their lives together — waiting for the right moment to pull them close. And when it did, it just made sense. Their story isn’t just about timing — it’s about finding the person you were meant for, even if it takes a little while to get there.
Working with The Heartfelt Narrative was an absolute pleasure. Now that our wedding was over a year ago, our videos are what truly bring us back to that special day. All the feelings and emotions we felt with our loved ones are captured for us to watch over and over. It was worth every penny, and we can't wait to show our kids someday.
