Rebecca and Stephen’s Elegant Spring Wedding at The Briar Barn Inn

Rebecca and Stephen’s wedding day in Rowley, Massachusetts, was a perfect blend of elegance, springtime vibes, and minimalistic beauty. From the personal touches in their vows to the effortless style of the day, every detail reflected their story and the love they share.

Their Love Story

Rebecca and Stephen’s paths first crossed while studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, during their junior year of college. Although they both attended Bryant University in Rhode Island, it wasn’t until they were halfway across the world that their connection sparked.

Their first unofficial date? A dorm party back at Bryant hosted by international students—mostly Spanish-speaking, which gave Rebecca no choice but to talk to Stephen all night (a pretty genius strategy on his part!). Their first official date at a formal restaurant in Providence might not have been the perfect vibe, but somehow, it worked. Over the years, their love grew, built on shared values, similar family upbringings, and a natural connection that only deepened with time.

An Intimate and Elegant Celebration

The wedding took place on an overcast spring day, with just the right amount of chill in the air to make everything feel cozy and intimate. Their ceremony at The Briar Barn Inn was officiated by Stephen’s father, adding a heartfelt, personal touch that brought so much warmth to the day. Rebecca’s French Canadian heritage also played a quiet but beautiful role, as Stephen’s ability to speak French made everyone feel connected.

The Style

Rebecca’s wedding look was timeless and understated. Her sheath dress featured a low back, ruching on the bodice, and a delicate flare at the bottom. Pearl accents on her veil and shoes added a touch of sophistication. The bridesmaids wore mismatched pale peppermint green dresses, which added a soft pop of color against the minimalistic backdrop.

Stephen and his groomsmen looked sharp in dark blue suits, with Stephen in a classic white tie and his groomsmen in green ties to match the bridesmaids. Their color palette of greens, pale pinks, and whites was simple, clean, and perfect for spring.

Unforgettable Moments

There were so many highlights, but Rebecca and Stephen’s private vows truly stood out. Taking a moment to exchange their promises away from the crowd felt deeply personal and grounding. And their first dance? Performed to “Little Wonders” by Rob Thomas, it was full of emotion. The way Stephen looked at Rebecca throughout the dance—and honestly, the whole day—showed just how much he adores her. It was one of those moments where you could feel the love in the room.
