The two met while attending Hobart and William Smith College. Victoria, a junior at the time, crossed paths with Daryl, a senior, at a Halloween party. Dressed as “Thing One” alongside her friend Ali as “Thing Two,” Victoria caught Daryl’s eye. Despite his best pick-up line, Victoria’s response was a quick, “No thank you.”

But love is persistent. A year later, they reconnected, and their story truly began. After Daryl graduated, their relationship turned long-distance for a year and a half while Victoria finished school. When they finally reunited, it was as if no time had passed at all.

A Day Filled with Love and Thoughtful Details

It was one of those summer days you hope for on your wedding—warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and a feeling of love filling every corner of The River Club. From heartfelt speeches to thoughtful details, every moment felt deeply personal.

The couple leaned into a travel theme—a nod to their shared adventures. Luggage tags served as seating cards, and each table was named after one of the places they had traveled together.

One of the most touching elements of the day came from Victoria’s role as a teacher. Her third graders wrote heartfelt (and sometimes hilarious) pieces of advice for the newlyweds, adding such a sweet and genuine touch to the celebration.

Style That Spoke Volumes

Victoria was an absolute vision in her Stella York lace gown, featuring thin straps and an elegant low-cut back. Her bridesmaids complemented her beautifully in Dusty Red-Violet dresses, while her sister and maid of honor, Gabri, stood out in a custom suit of the same hue.

Daryl and his groomsmen kept things sharp and timeless with light grey suits and reddish-pink ties, tying together the wedding’s romantic color palette of reds, pinks, whites, and greens.
